At AnchorRoc Living, we believe that lasting change begins with stability. Our homes provide a structured, supportive, and substance-free environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives with accountability, purpose, and community connection. Whether someone is transitioning from a structured program, re-entry setting, or simply seeking a new foundation, our goal is to help every resident anchor their future and move forward with confidence.

AnchorRoc Living provides structured, community-based shared housing for adults seeking stability, accountability, and a supportive living environment. Our homes are substance-free and wellness-focused, offering residents a safe space to rebuild independence, establish healthy routines, and connect with peers who share similar goals. We serve individuals transitioning from treatment, justice-involved programs, reentry, or other challenging life circumstances who are ready to create a foundation for lasting success.
AnchorRoc Living welcomes adults (18+) who are committed to personal growth, accountability, and independent living. Residents may be transitioning from structured programs, community housing, or other supportive environments and are ready to maintain a healthy, sober, and responsible lifestyle within a cooperative community setting. Referrals are also accepted from partner agencies, veteran services, reentry programs, and housing organizations.
Our affordable, all-inclusive rent covers fully furnished living spaces, utilities, Wi-Fi, on-site laundry, and shared household amenities. Residents also benefit from community activities, weekly meetings, and access to supportive peer networks designed to promote stability, independence, and long-term success.
AnchorRoc Living offers flexible lengths of stay based on each resident’s goals and readiness for independent living. Some residents stay for several months while others may remain longer - as they transition toward independent living - which includes securing employment, rebuilding stability, or working toward permanent housing plans. Our focus is on steady progress, consistency, and helping each individual transition successfully at their own pace.
We combine safe housing, structure, and community engagement to help residents build the habits and confidence needed for independence. Our approach includes regular check-ins, house meetings, life-skills development, and connection to local employment, education, and wellness resources. Each home fosters accountability and mutual support to ensure residents have the structure they need to thrive.
Residents are expected to maintain a clean, respectful, and substance-free living environment while actively participating in the household community. This includes attending meetings, following shared agreements, and demonstrating responsibility and courtesy toward others. Our structure ensures that every resident contributes to a safe, stable, and positive atmosphere.
To maintain a positive and supportive home environment, all residents must:
- Maintain a sober and responsible lifestyle
- Follow all house guidelines, schedules, and curfews
- Participate in weekly meetings and community activities
- Respect shared spaces and fellow residents
- Submit required documentation and fees on time
- Comply with random wellness or sobriety checks as part of maintaining accountability and safety
The process is simple. Interested applicants or referral partners can contact us directly to discuss availability and eligibility. We work closely with community agencies, reentry programs, recovery networks, and housing organizations in Rochester's Monroe county and other nearby rural counties.
Qualified individuals complete an intake packet for eligibility. Each application is carefully reviewed to ensure the home environment is a good fit and that residents are prepared to meet our structure and community expectations. Once approved, a move-in date is scheduled as availability allows.
Our team maintains open communication with referral partners and families to support each resident’s successful transition after placement for long-term success.
